I have cargo solution for you. While it may technically work to drill holes for the mounting hardware of the Trunx Cargo Carrier # TRX34FR, the manufacturer does not recommend drilling holes to accommodate a crossbar spread over 31 inches. Since we do not know the exact Yakima crossbars you have on your roof rack, the Trunx carrier will clamp around the bars as long as they do not exceed 3-3/4" wide x 1-3/16" tall.
